The annual West Hollywood Halloween Carnaval is the most festive street party around—and people go ALL OUT.
Approximately 500,000 converge on Santa Monica Boulevard dressed as anything and everything.
I spotted a giant raptor terrorizing the street. The man behind the dino (Jeff Scott) said he built his costume out of recycled jugs and water bottles. It even made dinosaur sounds.
Of course, there was plenty of blood and gore (and creepy clowns).
Some went for the pop culture reference.
There were a lot of drunk animals.
The dentist who killed Cecil the Lion made an appearance.
And real animals too.
A few people were dressed as my favorite condiments / foods.
This nice person actually gave me a cookie.
In classic WeHo fashion, there were a ton of shirtless men with bulging muscles.
Most were out just for the LOLs.
Starbucks was poppin’ too.
I waited until 5 p.m. on Halloween to look for a costume, so I literally went as nothing.
There’s always next year, right?
Happy Halloween everyone! See all the photos I took at foxla.com.
