Many people start their day with a cup of coffee, others hit the gym — but a couple hundred early birds in Los Angeles wake up with a massive dance party.
Daybreaker is a party like no other that starts at 6:30 a.m. There’s no booze or drugs, just a bunch of twenty-somethings feeling the vibes.
It’s one of those events where you walk in and immediately think: “This is so L.A.”
The two-hour party encourages people to start their morning on the dance floor. It’s a work out and a mood-booster. DJs spin beats that make you want to move, a live brass band parades through the crowd playing Nicki Minaj and sweaty breakdancers clear the floor.
It’s a unique morning movement that has spread to different cities across the world, including London, Los Angeles, New York and Seattle.
Tickets cost $20 in advance, $25 in the final 48 hours before the event. Unlimited coffee, juice and breakfast treats are also included.
